What You Will Do
The Partnership & Pipeline organization (PPO) is seeking Post Masters interns to help PPO support the Laboratory’s employees, managers, and senior leaders in attracting, developing, and retaining a workforce that delivers solutions to some of the most pressing issues facing our nation and the world. The Post Master’s interns will work with PPO to partner with LANL line organizations for the development of pipeline programs and workforce development programs that will enable the hiring needed for the Laboratory to successfully deliver on its mission and will provide opportunities for current employees to develop new skills and strengthen existing skills. This is an excellent opportunity for those interested in a career in the Business Administration to gain a broad understanding of the Laboratory and its mission and vision through working with an organization that is charged with engaging with external sponsors, stakeholders, and customers to build enduring partnerships. What You Need
Minimum Job Requirements:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact with a diverse technical and professional population
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in one or more of the following business related focus areas:
Government, community and customer relations
Strategic and Tactical Planning
Exceptional organization skills, including the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects
Demonstrated experience in conducting research, evaluating alternatives, and developing solutions affecting business, operational, and/or programmatic oversight
Proficiency in using office productivity software, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Demonstrated understanding of budget and financial systems
Education/Experience : Completed a Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field within the last 3 years with a GPA of 3.2 or above.
Experience and/or education directly related to Finance.
Experience working in a customer service environment.

This is a hybrid position which will be physically located in Los Alamos, NM as well as in a telework environment from a remote/home location within a two-hour ground commute of the Laboratory. Ability to report on-site is a must for this position.

Clearance: Q (Position will be cleared to this level). Applicants selected will be subject to a Federal background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements
for access to classified matter. This position requires a Q clearance which requires US Citizenship except in extremely rare circumstances. Dependent upon position, additional authorization to access nuclear weapons information may be required that may or may not be available to dual citizens depending upon the circumstances.
Eligibility requirements: To obtain a clearance, an individual must be at least 18 years of age; U.S. citizenship is required except in very limited circumstances. See DOE Order 472.2 for additional information.
New-Employment Drug Test: The Laboratory requires successful applicants to complete a new-employment drug test and maintains a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing.
Internal Applicants: Regular appointment employees who have served the required period of continuous service in their current position are eligible to apply for posted jobs throughout the Laboratory.
