What You Will Do

The selected candidate will report to the Weapons Facilities Operations (WFO-OS) Operations Support Manager. Candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of organizational improvement initiatives and employee development programs for WFO and supported programs. This position will interface with Operations, Engineering, Safety Basis, ESH, Project Management, Maintenance, the Explosives Safety Program, and programmatic personnel, supporting cross-organizational initiatives.

What You Need

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Demonstrated record of promoting teamwork, consensus building, mentoring, and motivating peers and subordinates and working across division lines with other organizations.

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills as evidenced by internal and/or external interactions, seminars, briefings, presentations, and publications.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with organizational support of programs, including program/initiative creation and implementation.

  • Knowledge/understanding in one or more of the following areas: project management, Business Systems, and programmatic support initiatives.

  • Demonstrated experience of operational discipline in high hazard, high consequence, or profit-based/corporate organizations.

  • Knowledge in supporting facility operations with:

  • Conduct of Operations implementation

  • Issue identification and corrective action development

  • Assessment and Planning Programs

  • Procedure development and technical writing

  • Implementation of quality assurance standards

Desired Skills:

  • Certified Project Manager or equivalent demonstrated experience.

  • Budget/financial planning experience.

  • Change Implementation experience.

Education:BS/BA and 5 years applicable experience or combination experience and education.
