Minimum Job Requirements:
Demonstrated experience to perform work in a research oriented environment including planning and conducting hand-on laboratory experiments, analyzing results, and writing reports.
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English, both orally and in writing.
Demonstrated ability to perform as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team conducting scientific or industrial work.
Demonstrated ability to work independently.
Demonstrated record of reliability and versatility.
Demonstrated competency with computers and software applications for word processing, data processing (e.g., Excel/Origin/Matlab), and data visualization.
Experience with additive manufacturing.
Experience with synthetic organic and/or polymer chemistry
Experience with ceramic processing techniques
Experience with materials characterization techniques.
Experience with experimental control programming (e.g., LabView, Python, etc.)
Commitment to achieving results in a complex social and organizational setting.
A B.S. from an accredited Bachelor’s Degree program in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Materials Science,or related technical field completed within past 3 years or soon to be completed, with cumulative GPA of at least a 3.0on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent).
