The High Explosives (HE) Fabrication and Disposition Group (M-8) in the Dynamic Experiments (M) Division is seeking a qualified Machinist that will provide inert machining support for the fabrication of components to support the fabrication of HE components in a classified environment. This Machinist will be required to work from complex drawings, sketches, and/or verbal instructions to facilitate the manufacture of parts and assemblies by programming, setting up, and operating manual and CNC mills and lathes, and a variety of general machine shop tooling. The machinist will ultimately train to become a HE machinist during the first two years within the group. The selected candidate will work in a team environment to provide fabrication services for a variety of customers both internal and external to the Laboratory.
