What You Will Do

The selected candidate will be a part of SAE-1’s E-Business Suite Infrastructure team as an Oracle EBS Applications Database Administrator. This position will support multiple systems, including two large EBS implementations. The functional EBS areas supported are Financials, Procurement, Human Resources, Payroll, and Discrete Manufacturing. Support required extends to boundary systems such as OAM/OID, OEM, GRC, CCG, PVCS, PPM, Kofax, and Take Supply.

This position will perform upgrades, patching of entire technical stack, cloning, and database administration functions as needed to include:

  • The planning, designing, implementation, and maintenance of various applications through the entire system life cycle.

  • Collaborate with systems analysts, database administrators, and developers to design appropriate technical solutions for business data requirements.

  • Establish and maintain security and integrity controls.

  • Define and implement operational support procedures including backup and recovery.

  • Perform operational support tasks, including troubleshooting, performance analysis, tuning, and designing load balancing solutions.

  • Collaborate with team members to formulate and monitor policies, procedures, and standards relating to the EBS.

  • Ensure databases & application tiers are implemented/ managed in a manner consistent with customer needs and industry best practices in general.

  • Propose and implement enhancements to improve the security, performance, and reliability.

What You Need

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience leading efforts to provide database support for all phases of Oracle EBS R12 implementation projects.

  • Demonstrated experience configuring and managing Oracle Enterprise Manager and Oracle Identity Manager.

  • Demonstrated experience with problem diagnosis and resolution, including the use of Oracle support.

  • Demonstrated ability installing and patching Oracle software; performance monitoring and tuning; addressing security vulnerabilities.

  • Demonstrated experience implementing or supporting Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and Single Sign-on (SSO) using Accessgate, Webgate and Oracle Access Manager (OAM).

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience installing, configuring, and integrating different components of Middleware such as Weblogic and Oracle Access Management (OAM).

  • Demonstrated time management skills as demonstrated by the ability to work on multiple projects with varying priorities and deadlines.

  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills.

Education:Typically requires a minimum of 8 years related experience. Post-graduate degree and/or professional certification(s) and/or equivalent combination of educations and experience required.
