What You Will Do
The Supply Chain Management group (ORI-3) under the Operational Readiness organization is seeking an energetic and customer‐focused Computing Systems Professional (CSP). The group is responsible for the development and maintenance of the Associate Lab Director for Weapons Production (ALDWP’s) red and yellow web sites as well as development and continuous maintenance of 150+ yellow and red SharePoint application sites. As the CSP you will support various databases and applications to include customized development and upkeep (e.g. system access/permissions, quick fixes, workflow creation/maintenance, etc.) across the organization. You will perform these duties in a fast‐paced environment with the potential for growth in the areas of providing tailored solutions in direct support of specific programmatic needs and mission milestones. Furthermore, to help the organization standardize and streamline how we manage knowledge and content, you will work with Solutions Architects to help establish, implement and maintain ALDWP’s Digital Content Management Plan.
As a member of this dynamic organization, you will work with a team using agile development methodologies to design, develop, test and deploy fully functional web based systems. The successful candidate must have the desire to learn technologies and business processes in order to meet our customer’s needs.
You will perform the full spectrum of database, and application development, including but not limited to the following:
Designs, develops, modifies, tests, debugs and evaluates software to meet functional requirements for functional areas.
Web development and maintenance.
Database development and maintenance.
What You Need
Minimum Job Requirements:
Demonstrated experience installing, configuring and deploying Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) software to meet ALDWP’s business solutions needs.
Familiarity with databases such as SQL Server.
Experience using RESTful services with the use of JSON.
Proficient in developing and designing reports from databases using a variety of applications such as SQL Server Reporting Services.
Proven ability to conceptualize and communicate requirements and detailed elements to both technical and non-technical personnel. Demonstrated skill with interpersonal, written, and verbal communications. Experience working as a productive member of an interdisciplinary team, including the demonstrated ability to develop solutions for a wide range of complex problems while effectively networking with peers inside and outside of the organization.
Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to provide clear, concise support and guidance to others in sometimes-stressful situations. Experience to interview customers to obtain system requirements. Ability to interact professionally with all types of personnel, including external interfaces and executive management.
Knowledge and experience of agile project management methodologies to complete projects on time and within budget.
Ability to work on unusually significant, unique or complex issues; provides solutions that are highly creative and where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles.
Training/Certifications: At this level, applicable advanced vendor and/or professional certification is desirable.
Education/Experience: Requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of eight years’ related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience using SCRUM for completing system development projects.
Demonstrated experience in the design and development of mobile applications.
Experience developing and providing software user training to end users.
Skilled in design software such as (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.)
Active Q Clearance.
Experience working on classified systems and networks.

for access to classified matter. This position requires a Q clearance which requires US Citizenship except in extremely rare circumstances. Dependent upon position, additional authorization to access nuclear weapons information may be required that may or may not be available to dual citizens depending upon the circumstances.
Eligibility requirements: To obtain a clearance, an individual must be at least 18 years of age; U.S. citizenship is required except in very limited circumstances. SeeDOE Order 472.2 for additional information.
New-Employment Drug Test: The Laboratory requires successful applicants to complete a new-employment drug test and maintains a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing.
